Just as cycling inches
its way back into the lives of Singaporeans, SPORT B. harnesses the power of
the fixie bike in celebration of its one year anniversary since its opening
here. Jumping on the bandwagon is Ben Yeo, a resident of Caldecott Hill and an
official fixie bike aficionado, who lends his fixie know-how to the project.
The bikes are made from an old steel frame, with interchangeable parts that
give the fixie its fixed-gear freedom.
The next time you’re walking past
SPORT B. at Isetan Orchard, drop by and shop around. Each $100 nett spent will
give you a lucky draw ticket to win your favourite fixie bike, and on top of
that, $15 of the sale from every successful entry to the lucky draw will be
donated to Arc Children’s Centre. Reach out and give a hand, your purchase
could help out a child in need.
The fixie bikes will be on display from 1 to 30
September 2012 at the SPORT B. Isetan Orchard.
