In 2016, we predict facial devices to get bigger than ever. Brand after brand is launching their own take on these high-tech beauty products, which use everything from light, ultrasound waves and vibrations to keep skin in as optimal a state as possible. Philips will be upping their game this year with a launch of a whole new line of advanced skincare tools, to be retailing at Sephora stores, and these four devices pretty much cover every step of the skincare routine. Time to upgrade:
Cleanse
You can switch up the cleansing head of the VisaPure Advanced, one for each of the modes: Deep Cleansing, Revitalising Massage and Fresh Eyes. Apparently, this particular device was developed in collaboration with Japanese massage experts, so those tools really pamper your skin in a way that improves microcirculation and boost the absorption of skincare products at the same time. All you have to do to switch between the modes is to attach the individual heads, as Near Field Communication technology allows the device to automatically detect which head has been attached, and then start the appropriate programme.
Treat
You might bristle at the idea of putting an electronic brush to your breakout, but the VisaPure Essential Anti-Blemish promises to be gentle with a dual motion technology on its brush head with long and thin bristles. Use it with a cleanser to dissolve sebum, and the brush motion then removes dead skin cells and any other nasty residue that could clog your pores.
Exfoliate
Ditch that abrasive sugar scrub you’ve been subjecting your skin to, and switch to the VisaCare Microdermabrasion – it’s like having a professional facial done at home, as this uses a microdermabrasion technology that the pros use. The action of the device both lifts and exfoliates the skin, so the skin looks firmer, in addition to being brighter.
Moisturise
Your skincare needs some ultrasound to work better. The VisaBoost Ultrasound Facial Moisturiser emits ultrasounds waves to dissolve the products you’ve applied onto your skin, and also uses vibration to massage the skin and promote micro-circulation, which also further boosts absorption.
