If you look at DJMag’s Top 100 list, you’d mostly see dudes. Which begs the question; why aren’t there more women inside? There are plenty of talented female DJs around, so why the disparity? That’s something that Edmosphere Asia is looking to answer at its inaugural party on 13 May 2017 at Megabox Convention Centre at Big Box (Level 3).
The fledgling festival, organised by HE Productions Pte Ltd and The Third Party Pte Ltd, will be featuring a badass, all-female DJ line-up from across the globe. DJs at the event include DJ Nicole Chen (Singapore), DJ Cookie (Taiwan), DJ Luane De Lima (Brazil), DJ Natalia Moon (Australia), DJ King Lady (Vietnam), DJ Ivy (Korea), MC Rocky (Korea) and MC Marija Debelic (Croatia).
Besides being a great avenue for female DJs to show off their skills, Edmosphere Asia is a fantastic alternative party option for all Singaporeans, especially those keen on discovering new talent. Plus, there’s the license to go all-out and party, something that can’t be too bad, right?
