MANIC PANIC COTTON CANDY PINK AMPLIFIED SQUEEZE BOTTLE
Pink hair, don’t care. Manic Panic’s range of rainbow-bright hair dyes include a select few that actually glow under black light, including this Cotton Candy Pink. You’ll have to do a thorough bleaching first for this colour to have its desired effect; after that, whether you keep the colour to just select sections of hair or do a full pink hairdo, you’ll always be party-ready.
$27.90, Piercing Gallery at #01-222 Marina Square
NCLA GLOW
NCLA calls this particular shade of nail polish “an eerie glow that lights up the darkest and spookiest of nights”. But we think this is a manicure that can be taken well beyond the confines of Halloween; having glow-in-the-dark nails is pretty cool. And it’s a nice light green that doesn’t look too bad in the day, too.

NYX INTENSE BUTTER GLOSS IN BERRY STRUDEL
They really mean it when they call this gloss “intense”. Berry Strudel is a colour that’s less a berry pastry, and more an almost radioactive purple with a super-glossy finish to boot. It takes a bit more to step out with a lip colour like this, but you’ll definitely be remembered for it. Or you can always layer it on top of a tamer shade first, as a lighter tint.
$13, Sephora
MAKE UP FOR EVER FLUO NIGHT BLACK LIGHT PIGMENT
This is the magic product that turns your regular makeup glow-in-the-dark. Mix in the translucent white powder with your eyeshadow, lipstick or body paint to make the colour instantly reactive to UV light. Use it sparingly, though – you don’t want to become a walking glow stick.
$60, MAKE UP FOR EVER Pro Loft at 36 Armenian Street #01-06
URBAN DECAY ELECTRIC PRESSED PIGMENT PALETTE
This is the antipode to the iconic Naked palettes: You ain’t going to end up with a neutral eye with these colours, for sure. Use the shades like Gonzo, a bright turquoise matte, Savage, a hot pink matte, and Thrash, a lime green with gold pearl, to really start a party on the eyes.
$72, Urban Decay stores and Sephora
GOSH XTREME LIQUID GEL EYELINER IN 008 ROYAL BLUE
The pastel blue might look quite unassuming in the tube, but it sure goes on very bright and very matte, and will continue to stand out even under the dance floor lights. Draw it on as a dramatic cat eye, then line right above the upper lash line with black liner for definition.
$21.90, Sasa
