It’s that time of the year when we pamper our moms with gifts and love and plenty of hugs — or so the world says. Before we roll our eyes at the massive industry force that’s driving the whole Mother’s Day train though, let’s just say, made up or not, it’s a day we can definitely get on board with. Here’s what you can expect at the event, which will be held at The South Beach on 7 May — first, a special brunch at the 5-star hotel, then gifts like a personalised flower bouquet, SK-II door gifts, as well as a chances to win stuff like a 2D1N staycation at The South Beach and more SK-II products. Last we heard, there’ll be media personalities at the event too, including SK-II ambassador and Mediacorp actress Rebecca Lim, while singers Daphne Khoo, Tay Kewei and Aarika Lee will be serenading the audience with a song or two.

One, sign your mom or daughter up as an SK-II Crystal Club Member and pamper her with SK-II products worth $499 — this sounds like a hefty price, but you do get $800 worth of gifts, and both of you get to receive an invite to the SK-II brunch (it’s limited to the first 110 pairs though, and you’ll have to make the purchase at Robinsons stores).
