If there’s one thing we need this summer, you can bet your monochromatically-clad asses it’s colour. And pop singer Pharrell Williams is all set to deliver with Pink Beach – his latest collab with adidas Originals for SS16.
Available in both adults and kids’ sizes, the collection is pretty much one glorious explosion of colour. It’s the Originals athleisure spirit with less of the moody street vibes, and more unadulterated fun – think printed bottoms, chiffon tracktops, and gorgeous graphic bombers. From the intricate island forest tropical prints to the pop art-style doodled graphics, everything draws inspiration from the soulful, luminous vibes of both a carefree island spirit, and Pharrell’s own untroubled passion for music, art, and fashion. (After all, who can forget 2014’s song of the summer Happy?) In fact, there’s something surreally beautiful about each piece that truly does seem to embody the magic of island culture, which only leaves us wanting more.
