Sneakers are slowly taking over our lives, what with the latest athleisure trend and recent celebrity collaborations that had most of us revealing the so-called sneakerhead in us. We get it; sneakers are definitely a must-have in anybody’s wardrobe. Fuss-free, comfortable and versatile, the right pair will allow you to transition easily from day to night. However, getting your hands on a great pair of sneakers is becoming increasingly difficult in Singapore. We understand your pain when you realise that you can’t find that perfect pair of shoes anywhere in our deprived little sunny island, or when the dreadful words “Out Of Stock” glares back at you on your computer screen after painstakingly scouting for the one. Ugh! But despair no more my friends, we have picked out five great pairs of sneakers that you can find online and are still available (act fast now!)

We all try hard to be early for our appointments, but sometimes, just sometimes, our tangled laces get in the way. The trouble we all have to go through to tie our laces several times a day! Our worries are now unfounded with these laceless leather sneakers by Axel Arigato. YES, LACELESS. You can now slip your feet easily into these calf leather lining pair of shoes that are designed with a rubber cup-sole and the gold Arigato logo at the side. Available in six glorious colours in a subtle and clean palette, we aren’t sure which to pick either.
5. Acne Studios

Given Acne Studios’ sleek and sophisticated designs, we wouldn’t expect anything less from this Swedish luxury fashion house. We confess; this pair of Acne Studios’ ‘Adriana’ sneakers are definitely the most Instagram-worthy one of the lot. Designed with detailed textured-leather and a detachable emoji-inspired plaque, this pair of crisp white sneakers will add a pop of “colour” to your outfits, giving you a clean and polished look. If you’re bored of white, the Adriana sneakers is also available in an iridescent shade of metallic silver. Talk about fancy.
