Our all-time favourite PomPomPurin, a Golden Retriever with an iconic brown beret (that looks a lot like a milk pudding) is celebrating his 20th birthday this year. Yes even this little Sanrio character will be having a huge birthday bash. :CHOCOOLATE and Sanrio will be collaborating to launch a collection consisting of womenswear, childrenswear and accessories, in light of PomPomPurin’s birthday.

Look forward to a series featuring adorably printed t-shirts, towels, a bag and even a onesie. Ah a onesie! We can already hear you squealing as we are typing this. Slip into these hooded overalls for a sleepover or just wear it just because. Another favourite has got to be the brown beret – the one just like PomPomPurin’s. You can now have the chance to be half as sassy as this little creature.
By now you’re probably already buzzing in excitement from the cute range of merchandises that :CHOCOOLATE will be blessing us with. You’ll also be glad to know that they will be launching a month-long joint project with the POMPOMPURIN CafĂ©, where you’ll get to experience the full glory of the :CHOCOOLATE x PomPomPurin collaboration, as the PomPomPurin paradise will be decorated by the images and black-and-white polka dots that are featured in the collection. You will also be able to purchase some of the products from the collection in the cafĂ© during this period.
To make things even sweeter, the Café will also be creating a PomPomPurin Chocolate drink cleverly named “Butt… It’s Iced Chocolate” that features PomPomPurin’s little butt. We hope it’s not too weird to say that we can’t wait to dig into this drink. But seriously, who can?
