Ever since McDonald’s introduced its Breaded Salmon burger a few months ago, it’s continued in its efforts to create healthier and better quality food. And now, with McCafe’s brand new selection of soups and sandwiches, you’re guaranteed to feel the love – and the satisfaction of a good meal.
For starters, you can either treat yourself to a bowl of the classic Cream of Mushroom Soup – and all its creamy, rustic goodness with hints of tangy celery and onion – or a hearty Broccoli Soup, combining florets of broccoli, celery, onion and leeks.
If you prefer something a little more substantial, you can also pick from four different types of sandwiches! The classic Egg Mayo, Chicken Ham and Spinach on Light Rye Bread combines the richness of a chunky egg mayonnaise spread with baby spinach and chicken ham, all served atop toasted light rye bread. Other sandwich selections include the Chicken Ham, White Cheddar and Tomato Sandwich, as well as the Chicken Mayo, White Cheddar and Spinach on Light Rye Bread. For those fancier folk, opt for the Chicken Pesto, Wild Rocket and Tomato on Ciabatta. Yup, ciabatta. Filled with succulent fajita chicken lightly tossed in basil pesto, topped with a combination of melted cheese, peppery wild rocket and juicy thick cuts of tomatoes, this sandwich is deliciousness guaranteed. You can even top up $1.50 to enjoy a meal that comes with a McCafé drink of your choice.
