It’s a lofty dream that’s written right into america’s declaration of independence, and yet, something we still yearn for, in the littlest of everyday actions, while spending time with our loved ones, and, if time and money allows, travelling to see the world. you don’t have to empty your wallets to go on far-flung journeys though – exploring Southeast Asia’s quite an eye-opener too, as we found out when we embarked on a week-long trip to Thailand, particularly to Samui, Chiang Mai and the hilly regions of Mae Hong Son. Between these, there’s more than enough natural beauty, culture, adventure, and good food to be pleased about. Let’s just say, Thailand’s not called “the land of smiles” for nothing.
