Instant photo lovers have been spoiled silly these past few weeks with the release of cameras like the Lomo’Instant Milano and Lomo’Instant Automat. However, Fujifilm has largely kept quiet…until now. The Japanese electronics company has recently unveiled their new Instax Mini Film Monochrome series, in a move that’ll undoubtedly please black-and-white photography enthusiasts.
“The ‘Instax Mini Film Monochrome’ responds to the increasingly sophisticated demands of users,” Fujifilm said, “enabling them to expand the artistic potential of their photographic expression and adding a further dimension of fun to using Instax cameras and films.”
The monochrome instax series will be used for Fujifilm’s instax instant cameras, as well as their Share printer – a portable device that allows you to print pictures on the go. There has been no word yet as to how much the monochrome film will cost, but it’s understood that it’ll be sold in cartridges of 10 sheets each. For now though, it’s worthwhile planning your shots till the film is released later this October.
