Consistent. That’s a word that would best describe Clarks as a brand. For the longest time, the British shoe company has churned out hits like the Desert Boot and Wallabee®. This time though, Clarks is taking it one step further, with stylish new collections finding their way to the feet of celebs like Pharrell, Connie Constance, and Ghostface Killah.
Celebrity endorsements aside, Clarks shoes are now undeniably some of the coolest kicks around town. Don’t believe us? Just check out the super suave, ultra-slick Trigenic Flex series. These modern marvels of foot apparel are at the forefront of cutting-edge shoe innovation, combining both the tradition of handicraft with modern design, resulting in footgear that’ll up your street cred in no time.
As if heading the athleisure trend wasn’t enough for these guys, they’ve got the substance to mete out the style too. For instance, the Trigenic Flex features a specialised foot-shaped fit that is formed by a distinctive asymmetric profile. Coupled with deconstructed uppers and a three part Vibram® sole, and you’ve got shoes that mould themselves onto your foot’s natural shape. It’s almost like an extension of your limb.
Having tried on the Trigenic Flex series for myself, I can safely say that it has a certain degree of comfort that’s difficult to find in other shoes. It’s smooth, easy to fit on, plus its perforated pores allow sufficient breathability, something that’s a godsend in hot, hot Singapore. And, it’s pretty easy to match with any outfit, as each shoe’s visual outlook is versatile enough to suit any occasion – be it a party, a trip to the shopping mall, or a walk in the park.
Design-wise, there isn’t much to complain about too. Ladies can treat themselves to charcoal suede, nut-brown suede, and white shoes, while colours for gents are available in dark green suede, dark tan suede, and black.
Also, in terms of OOTD photos, there are plenty of options.
Want a side-profile snapshot of the Trigenic Flex? No problem. The Trigenic Flex’s aesthetic form ensures there’s plenty of detail to admire. What about a full-frontal view of the shoes against the backdrop of a concrete staircase? Trust us, that’ll look good too. Or perhaps you could just sit on a grass patch and take a full body shot. The Trigenic Flex does improve an outfit’s overall look after all.
With so many things going on for Clarks, it’s no wonder that they’ve created another winner in the form of the Trigenic Flex series. If you’re thinking about getting new kicks and you didn’t at least consider these beauties, well, you need to take a long, hard look at yourself. These shoes are about as cool (and comfortable) as they get in the athleisure industry, and definitely worth forking out the cash for.
The Clarks Trigenic Flex is available in nine colours and priced at $299 (Mens) and $269 (Womens) and is available at all Clarks boutique stores. Visit www.clarks.sg.
