Get Your Monochromatic Fix With The Vans x Opening Ceremony "Passion Pack"

We’ve recently said that metallic colourways are going to be one of the big sneaker trends of 2017, but if you’re looking for something a little less flashy but equally eye-catching, it looks like monochromatic is the way to go. If the upcoming Superga 2750 Pastel Pack wasn’t evidence enough, it looks like Vans is confirming the trend with their newest collaboration with New York-based retailer Opening Ceremony.

Dubbed the “Passion Pack”, the collaboration includes the Old School LX and Sk8-Hi LX — which equips the iconic silhouettes with some luxurious premium leather — and decks the shoes in tonal red, pink and yellow colourways for a clean statement look. If you’re going for a more subtle aesthetic, the collection has also got you covered with the OG Style #23 LX, which features retro-inspired velcro straps in a timeless triple white colourway.

The Vans x Opening Ceremony “Passion Pack” is exclusively available right now at the Opening Ceremony website, and considering the hype surrounding these kinds of collaborations, its really no surprise that they cost a little more than your average skate shoe. Minimalist, pastel AND on trend? We can definitely get on board with that.
