While Adidas and Nike are the first brands that come to mind when we think of sneakers, we have to admit that Puma has been knocking it out the park recently — from the Basket Heart with its oversized ribbon laces to the Basket Strap and its retro-inspired velcro straps, the German sportswear brand has given us a lot of reasons to add their kicks our shoe collections. If you’re looking for something a little more traditional that will still make a statement, however, then the Puma Basket Platform might be worth checking out.
The sneaker’s suede upper is your standard sneaker fare, but as the name implies, the standout feature of the sneaker is its chunky midsole, which will no doubt add some considerable height to your frame. If you’re a fan of the Rihanna-endorsed Fenty Creepers but haven’t been able to get your hands on one, this is probably the next best thing.
