Fans of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast are already whipping themselves up into a fairytale-themed frenzy by getting their hands on all kinds of merchandise inspired by the film. There’s a jewellery collection to bedazzle yourself in, shoes to twirl in, and even skincare and makeup to perfect your visage. Well, there’s more coming our way. The beloved team behind Storybook Cosmetics has just given us a sneak peek at a makeup brush that looks like the enchanted rose from Beauty and the Beast.
We’re talking about the rose that’s constantly reminding the Beast that he might not find true love.
That’s right Nick Cage, that rose. However, I think we can all do without that one. Storybook Cosmetics announced its “What’s in a Name” collection, which is inspired by a Shakespearean classic, Romeo & Juliet, yet we still think this brush will put the perfect final touch to any Belle outfit. Its bristles are dyed red and comes complete with a green handle that bears a striking resemblance to an actual stalk.
The makeup company mentioned that there would be a final round of changes before the brushes are ready to be sent out to our hearts. They plan on making the red bristles darker and the lengths of the brush ferrule will also be given an extension to prevent the leaves from grazing your face. No word on the release date for these romantic little things yet, but we probably won’t have to wait much longer until they’re ours.
