This Puma Suede Classic's Design is Inspired By…Raindrops?

Are sneakers with fashionably outlandish designs a thing now? First we had Nike dressing up the Air Force 1 in sequins (which looks a lot better than it sounds, actually), and now it looks like Puma is adding on to that potential trend with their new Suede Classic V2 Rain.

While the on-trend tonal pink colourway was already enough to get our attention, the sneaker’s standout feature has got to be the “raindrop” design that…well, looks like raindrops have permanently fused to your kicks (we wouldn’t have expected wet shoes to look good, but the subtle detailing surprisingly works). To drive the whole rain motif home, the shoes also feature a translucent midsole for a pretty unique look that definitely won’t dampen your style.

The Puma Suede Classic V2 Rain is available online right now, and can be bought online for €80 ($119). Pink shoes seem to be all the rage this year, so rocking these uniquely designed kicks might be a good way to stand out from the crowd.
