Vans Goes Old School With its Colourful 1966 Anaheim Factory Pack

Sometimes, the only way to move forward is to take a step back, which is what Vans is doing with its latest street collection – the super sweet, ultra colourful Anaheim Factory pack.
These canvas gems take inspiration from the company’s original 1966 footgear produced in Anaheim, California; so here’s a style that has definitely worked before. That said; these kicks are more than just nostalgic reboots.

With vibrant colourways, each silhouette would look good on any modern city slicker, and design-wise, the shoes also don’t veer too far away from Vans’ rebel youth culture style. Why change a formula that works, right?
Sneaker-heads will also geek out at the construction of these shoes. For instance, every model has a marshmallow sidewall with a higher profile. These profiles are prepared with a slight sheen that has gone through Vans’ old school vulcanization process for a classic look.

But what’s even cooler is that the newly released racing red, mineral green, and light grey models could actually have been found at the original Anaheim store! Vans sure is taking this vintage business seriously.
For those of you who want to cop the modern batch of Anaheim Factory shoes though, they’re available at all Vans stores and selected retailers. The Authentic will cost $89, while the Old Skool will set you back $109.
