It’s official. Japan owns everyone else whenever it comes to awesome Pokémon merchandise, and here’s the proof: they’ve got chocolate pokéballs you can make in the comfort of your home.
Developed by Bandai, the “Create Your Own Snack: Pokémon Gotta Catch ‘Em All Chocolate Maker” comes as part of the Japanese company’s “Create-Your-Own Snack” (Tsukuru Oyatsu) collection of DIY treats, and is incredibly fun.
But if you’re wondering, you’re not limited to making just pokéballs. This quirky kit also lets you create chocolate versions of characters like Pikachu, in addition to other Pokémon from the new Sun and Moon anime series, such as Litten, Rowlet, and Popplio.

Unfortunately, the “Create Your Own Snack: Pokémon Gotta Catch ‘Em All Chocolate Maker” is only available at Japanese supermarkets and convenience stores for the price of 250 yen each.
But don’t let that get you down. The kit would still make a magnificent souvenir, especially if you’re a big Pokémon fan and you want to treat yourself to something special while visiting Japan.
