Nike Drops ANOTHER Pair of Pink / Grey Sneakers

We know Nike says “Just Do It” all the time, but we didn’t think that they’d take their own words this seriously. It’s only been a day since we saw the Air Max 1 receive the increasingly popular pink / grey treatment, and the swoosh brand is already putting one of the biggest sneaker trends of 2017 on yet another pair of kicks. Instead of using one of their more popular models such as the Air Force 1 or Roshe, however, it looks like they’re showing some love to the underrated Internationalist silhouette, and we’re starting to think that no sneaker can look bad in this winner of a combination.

Like other pink / grey sneakers before it, these kicks rock a predominantly pink upper with grey accents on the swoosh and heel tab for a nice pop of contrast. Though technically draped in the same “Sunset Tint”, the upper — which consists of a sturdy combination of suede, mesh and nylon — sports two different shades due to the varying finishes on each material. Seeing that the silhouette originated as a running shoe, it’s also no surprise that the lower half sports a white midsole / gum sole combination for that active look.

The Nike Internationalist “Sunset Tint / Cool Grey” is available right now, and can be bought at select Nike stockists such as Titolo for US$110. If Nike is going to keep slapping the pink / grey trend on their sneakers, we’re going to have to make a lot more space in our shoe closets for the swoosh brand.
