Adidas Joins The Floral Sneaker Trend With a Pair of Festival-Ready Skate Shoes

Are floral sneakers making a low-key comeback? Because based on recent releases it certainly seems like it. Nike first got the ball rolling back in March with a pair of rose red Air Max 90’s, and followed up with a beautiful “Spring Garden” Pack that covered four of their silhouettes in an unconventional floral / black combination. Now it looks like Adidas is getting in on the action by giving their Adi-Ease skate shoes the floral treatment as well, and think we might have just found the perfect pair of kicks for the summer.

As is the case with most floral sneakers, the dark blue upper is completely draped in an assortment of flower and leaf prints, with the occasional orange flower popping up for a nice bit of intermittent contrast throughout the shoe. With so much going on at the top half, it’s no surprise that the vulcanised sole has been made a clean white to cleanse the palate, fitted with a classic design that’s reminiscent to those on a pair of Chuck Taylor’s. We don’t skate, but that’s not going to stop us from copping a pair of these.

These floral Adidas Adi-Ease’s are available right now, and can be bought online at select Adidas Skateboarding stockists such as Sneaker Politics for a very affordable US$60 (skate shoes might not be as flashy as trainers, but they sure are cheap). If there was ever a shoe that was made to wear to a music festival, these kicks would be a pretty good candidate. Now if only we could afford the tickets…
