If you didn’t already know, Mother’s Day is next Sunday, which means that it’s about that time to start panicking about where to take your mom to treat her like the queen she is. With a little over a week to the big day it can be quite the challenge to find an appropriate (AKA Instagram worthy) venue and gather some obligatory flowers while you’re at it, but Dazzling Cafe is thankfully providing a much easier alternative by offering the quintessential Mother’s Day experience in a single high tea set.

In a collaboration with local artisan bakery Creme Maison, the set has been specially designed to cater to both mother’s and children’s palettes, and feature a eclectic selection of Asian-Western fusion treats that taste as good as they look. Savoury food lovers can look forward to some luxurious Cod Brandade with Wasabi Mayo and Duck Confit Puffs, while those with a sweeter tooth are sure to enjoy the Mini Ondeh Rose Moshi Shooters (which mom doesn’t’ love Gula Melaka?) and the cafe’s signature Raspberry Lychee Tea Cake.

For an extra $10, customers can also pick two drinks from the cafe’s gourmet tea selection, with the Paris-imported Mariage Frères and Hediard Tea Leaves guaranteed to finish off the meal on a sweet note. While the food alone is probably already worth the price of admission, all mothers will also receive a complimentary stalk of carnation, and you there’s even a greeting card thrown into the mix for you to write a heartfelt message and immortalise the entire occasion.

The Dazzling Cafe Mother’s Day high tea set is priced at a very affordable $49.90, and will be available at both their Capitol Piazza and Orchard Gateway outlets from the 4th to 31st of May (the complimentary flower will only be given on Mother’s Day itself, though). $50 for a mouth-watering meal for two, flowers AND a card? Yeah, we don’t think we’d be able to plan a better date ourselves.
