Laneige does this really cool thing every year, where they run a roadshow that travels from country to country, celebrating the power of water in creating skin that sparkles – most especially via the iconic Water Sleeping Mask.
2017’s Laneige Beauty Road with Water Sleeping Mask kicks off tomorrow, 18 May at ION Orchard, and boy are there a whole bunch of incredibly exciting things to look forward to this time round:
1) The “Refill Me” Water Sleeping Masks
For the second time, Laneige is partnering up with the Waterways Watch Society to raise awareness for water conservation. Which is the reason behind the special edition “Refill Me” Water Sleeping Mask and Water Sleeping Mask – Lavender, which come in these really adorable boxes covered in water drop mascots.
They launch first at the roadshow tomorrow, and then will be available at all Laneige boutiques and counters, as well as online on Lazada till 30 June 2017. Laneige will be donating $2 from each purchase of these Sleeping Masks to the Waterways Watch Society, up to a total amount of $12,000; you also get a free Refill Me bottle with each purchase, a handy physical reminder to cut down on all that plastic waste.
2) Plenty of interactive games and prizes
There will be 5 game zones, all designed to let you learn all about the Sleeping Mask. With things like a 3D Photo Zone, a Virtual Reality Zone (yes, complete with actual VR device), and water-themed games that will test your reflexes, there’s plenty of fun guaranteed already. But once you collect five stamps from completing the games and activities, you get to spin a sure-win roulette with prizes including Laneige products, and Korean-themed memorabilia.
3) Stand to win a trip to Korea
The top-spending Laneige member at the roadshow as well as Laneige ION Orchard boutique from 18 to 24 May 2017 wins a serious prize: a pair of air tickets to Korea, sponsored by the Korean Tourism Organisation. Terms and conditions apply, and winners must be at least 16 years of age and be able to travel within the specified travel period.
4) Learn from Laneige experts and local personalities
On Friday 19 May, 7pm to 8pm, Laneige’s Global Makeup Artists Cat Koh and Eva Lee will be running skincare and makeup demos at the roadshow – it’ll be your best opportunity to get an update on what’s currently trending in Seoul, K-Beauty-wise.
And on Sunday 21 May, 4pm to 5pm, local lifestyle and beauty influencer Soh Peishi (@speishi on Instagram) and actor Nat Ho will be doing a beauty talk and a skincare-focused Q&A session. Post your questions for them on Laneige’s social media accounts, and you’ll also get a chance to win more Laneige Sleeping Care products during this session.
5) Lee Sung Kyoung’s coming – and you might get a chance to take a photo with her
Mark Saturday, 20 May, 4pm on your calendars – that’s when the star of Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo, one of the most refreshing Korean dramas of the year so far, will be gracing the Laneige roadshow (!!!).
The 5 top-spending Laneige members from over the past week, ending tomorrow 18 May, will stand a chance to win a group photo opportunity with Lee herself.
