The art of masking involves more than just casually slapping on an entire sheet mask on your face. Granted that that’s really how masking should actually be, but we have to say, if you’re still sticking to single sheets while hoping to soothe multiple skin woes… you’re a tad behind the times. Multi-masking is the technique that beauty gurus have been using, in fact, customising the types of masks that goes onto your face can help tackle specific skin problems — all at the same time.
It may sound confusing for the ones who have yet to try it, but trust us, multi-masking is actually pretty darn easy. Say, should you have fine lines round the upper parts of your face, a half-mask that’s meant for anti-aging purposes could be applied there. These masks from Kocostar though, are possibly the cutest sheet masks we’ve seen in a long while. It’s pretty hard to differentiate masks, but not impossible. Tony Moly has some pretty adorable animal-faced ones, and Petite Amie has some quirky emoji ones too. They all have one thing in common — all of them come in a single sheet that’s meant for your entire face. The masks from Kocostar though, are a tad different. There are actually twelve “slices” of masks in each pack.
Now, that ought to have you sitting upright. The masks in each pack come in palm-sized sheets, decorated to look like the active ingredient that the mask is infused with. That means you’re gonna be welcomed with twelve slices of say, cucumber, upon opening up each pack. Go ahead and plaster them all over your face and snap a million selfies for the ‘gram while you’re at it.
The entertainment value isn’t all there is to a pack of Kocostar masks. They take multi-masking to a new level — you can pick from four different masks depending on which skin problems you intend to tackle. So select what you need: the lemon mask that helps combat skin dullness can perhaps go all over your cheeks and forehead, while the tomato one which has collagen and fights against signs of aging can go along your nose, and around the eyes. You’re likely to end up with a full face of fruit slices, which honestly, makes masking so much more fun.
And the best part, at least for us, is how crazily inexpensive these masks cost — a pack of twelve is only going to set you back $6. Tell us this isn’t the best deal you’ve heard all day.
