This hack requires literally the least amount of effort — we can assure you, way less than that whole hour you spend perfecting your twin arches daily.
Okay, maybe not an hour. But all that effort needed to precisely fill in sparse areas, to carve out a fleeky arch, and making sure it looks natural enough to be passed off as a “my brows but better” look… may be quite a turn-off sometimes. Especially if you are someone who needs to dedicate yourself to early mornings every day, which is why sometimes we step into the office with wonky brows and end up feeling all self-conscious for the rest of the day. Nope, just nope.
So yes, we’ll stop rambling and reveal our quick solution to all the lazy girl woes — this hack is really none other than… eyebrow wigs. Now, before you go all ugh and head straight for the button that closes this page (while rolling your eyes, no less), do hear us out. Granted that not many celebrities wear eyebrow wigs — well, we won’t really know for sure — but how do you think they manage to change their hair colour every so often? With wigs no doubt. Just ask Kylie Jenner.
The same theory goes for eyebrows. If you’re one to have really little (or no) brow hairs, and drawing them makes the overall look too… fake, for lack of a better word; try instead faux hairs — they’ll end up looking really natural.
All you have to do is to stick them on. An extra effort of highlighting the brow bone and applying brow gel may be made, but otherwise, that’s all you have to do to get fuller brows.
And if you need any more affirmation, Jeffree Star did sport a pair of brown eyebrow wigs during his photoshoot for his Androgyny eyeshadow palette; his MUA Nick literally just pasted them on, and he instantly looked like he got his brows waxed and threaded every month. Celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo, who has clients like Emily Ratajkowski and Katy Perry, also recently put up a video on his Instagram featuring eyebrow wigs.
Plus, just like how conventional wigs work, these eyebrow wigs also serve as a great option for folks who have lost their hair while going through chemotherapy, or have hair loss issues that they desire to counter. If you think about it, eyebrow wigs, though “weird”, are really not that much of a deal.
Stores that sell costume outfits tend to stock these, though you can try your luck at wig specialist places too. Just remember to get a pair that suits your hair and skin tone for it to look as “natural” as possible.
