I’M OBSESSED WITH BEAUTY TRAVEL KITS! Every time I come across a suitable beauty product that would be great for travel, I note it down into a list. These are my current favourite beauty items to travel with, and if you’re lucky, you could win the entire set for yourself!

This is the perfect beauty pouch to store the ultimate beauty travel kit! It’s made of waterproof material and can be easily wiped down with a wet cloth. Why you want it? The zips go around the case and down to the sides, providing a wide opening for you to get your items. And there are compartments for your things!
 

2. NARS #JetSetter Traveler’s Exclusive Eye, Cheek and Lip Palette, $103, available online at ishopchangi.com (Buy it here), and NARS at Changi Airport Terminal 2 Departure Transit Lounge.

I found the perfect colour palette with NARS! One day I was surfing the NARS website (like one does), and came across this travel exclusive that has all the shades I need: a shimmery ivory for highlights, gold and mauve for a wash of colour over the lids, the all-essential black for lining eyes and creating smokey looks, and the famous Orgasm blush! The Laguna bronzing powder, velvet matte lip pencil and travel brush are a major bonus.

3. Kanebo Dual Eyeliner, Liquid, Pen + Holder, $68, available at Kanebo counters at Takashimaya and OG.

Did you know that you can use these without the holder? I carry just the ends around in my wallet because they make the smallest eyeliners that you can get, but with a full-sized tip!

4. shu uemura Cleansing Oils, 50ml, not for sale 

One of these little 50ml bottles is good for more than two weeks of travel! You can’t buy these in store anymore, but you can receive one with a purchase of $150 and above at shu uemura counters. There are five variations here and we have all five to give away!

5. YSL Beauty Le Compact Encre De Peau, $99, available at YSL Beauty boutiques and counters, and online at TANGS here. 

I carry this everywhere I go. It’s a powder that has the smooth, natural finish of a liquid. It’s so light. It’s so magical. It also smells HEAVENLY. 

6. NARS Matte Multiple in Laos, $60, available at the NARS boutique and counters.

I can’t get enough of NARS… because their products are just SO GOOD! And versatile! This is the new Matte Multiple in the shade “Laos”. It’s an incredibly natural rose coral shade that looks like a very pretty flush on the cheeks. And you can use this on the lips too (also very pretty!) and even on the eyes. 

7. Lush No Drought Dry Shampoo, $16.50 (50g), available at Lush stores and lushsg.com.

Does your hair ever get greasy on a plane? Of course it does. A dry shampoo is what you need — and one that does not come in an aerosol can! This powder from Lush has oil-absorbing powders, grapefruit and lime to refresh hair without the need for water. Just dust it on, massage a little into the scalp, wait for 30 seconds, and then brush it out! Also, don’t do this at your seat; go to the toilet please!

8. Lush Dirty The Original Toothy Tabs, $13 (50g), available at Lush stores and lushsg.com. 

These pills are actually toothpaste. You pop one in the mouth, chew it, brush like normal, then rinse and spit out. Perfect for freshening up on the plane or even in office!
