Let’s be honest here. Earphones aren’t exactly the most exciting accessories in terms of style. There’s not much to look forward to in terms of design and colours can be quite boring. Not unless you count Happy Plugs of course.
The Swedish company is known for its repertoire of gorgeous, candy-coloured earphones, and its latest model is no different.
Along with MTV, Happy Plugs has re-launched its limited edition rainbow-themed earphones in commemoration of “Gay & Lesbian Pride Month”, and to celebrate qualities like hope and diversity.
This special collaboration is more than just slapping rainbow colours on earphones though. For every purchase, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the IGLHRC (International Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission), so there are plenty of opportunities to spread the love over here.
As for the earphones, well, let’s just say they aren’t the best in the world. But they’re also pretty decent if you aren’t too iffy about sound quality. Specs-wise, music is funneled through 14.9mm handmade drivers, while you can also control calls and music with a mic and remote.
