The Pink Force is Strong with Vans’ Latest Old Skool Kicks

Even if you only have the slightest inkling of the latest sneaker news, you’d know that pink is hot at the moment (so hot, we’ve dedicated an entire write-up to all the best millennial pink sneakers to cop).
And in keeping with the trend, Vans has unveiled its latest model – an Old Skool decked in a dreamy “Very Berry” colourway, which if you ask us, feels like something more along the lines of teeny bopper, bubblegum pink.

In terms of looks, it’s pretty similar to the footwear company’s recently launched candy-coloured “oh sooo suede” pack (yes, there’s more pink inside), which goes down the tried-and-tested pastel route. But damn, we never imagined a pink Old Skool would look this good.
Design-wise, the shoe is of course emblazoned in dark pink on its suede and nylon-constructed uppers. That shade of colour is gorgeously juxtaposed by a white midsole and the Vans logo at the back.

There’s just one slight problem though. These kicks are only available in Japan (boooooo). But if you really want to score them, you can always go through a third party. They’re the kind of product that’s worth going the extra mile for anyway.
If you can’t be bothered with all that fuss and want something closer to home, there’s always Vans’ quirky Peanuts collection to check out.
