Fred Perry to Open New Store at Bugis Junction Inspired by Street Art

The streets. That’s the image conjured up for most people when they think of Fred Perry – gritty, nonconformist, yet ever-present. The company, long associated with subcultures like the rudeboys, skinheads, and punks, will open up its third store this August at Bugis Junction, with the space inspired by the brand’s maverick roots.

Instead of the clean, minimalist aesthetic that’s so popular these days, the exterior of Fred Perry’s new space at Bugis Junction will be emblazoned with street graffiti from top to bottom. An industrial-chic interior lined with concrete and reclaimed bricks will complete the whole set-up.

But wait; it gets even better.
The new space will switch up its look from time to time with a series of creative takeovers led by underground local artists. First up will be a 12 metre-long mural by ZERO, founder of street art collective RSCLS. Following that, MR SABOTAGE (SBTG), a new-age DIY visual artist, will embellish the space with his punk rock-inspired artworks.

So there’s plenty of reason to head down to Fred Perry’s new Bugis Junction store, besides satisfying your appetite for designer labels of course. If you’d like to do just that too, the new store will be carrying both the Authentic Men’s and Women’s collection, as well as the new FP Logo series from the upcoming Autumn collection.
Fred Perry’s new shop will be located at #02-03 Bugis Junction, 200 Victoria Street.
