By now, you should very well know that whenever there’s a big holiday round the corner, get ready to expect a special collection from Kylie Jenner’s beauty line, Kylie Cosmetics. And since the self-declared King Kylie’s 20th birthday is coming real soon on August 10, the beauty mogul obviously had to launch a birthday collection to celebrate making it through one-fifth of a century (no biggie). We don’t even remember what we did on our 20th birthday.
Last year’s birthday bundle was a smashing success, and we’re guessing this year won’t be any different. Besides, have any Kardashian-Jenner launches not sold out within hours? For her #Kylieturns20 collection, the products are all housed in starry-themed millennial pink packaging, with a touch of glittery shimmers here and there. Her signature dripping lips logo makeup bag also comes in a pretty metallic pink.
So what goes into the special birthday edition? Well, first up, the Birthday Book that is marked with the words “I want it all” at the front, consists of eyeshadow shades, a pink blush and a shimmery rose-gold highlight. The collection also includes two new glosses – Cupcake and Cherry Pie, two new Ultra Glows – King and Queen, and a Birthday Brush Set. There will also be a matte and velvet Birthday Collection Kit, each carrying different shades, a Twenty Birthday Lip Kit, and a limited edition Bedazzled Candy Matte Lip Tube.
The birthday girl herself also created a burgundy-purple look using the products from her own birthday collection, and as usual, she’s killin’ it. If you want to rock the same look as Jenner, you could. But make sure you mark your calendars this coming Tuesday and work those nimble fingers. Fastest fingers first!
