“Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?” Well, perhaps you could be the fairest of them all if you use Bésame Cosmetics’ upcoming 15-piece Snow White-inspired makeup collection. Now, before all you Disney fans get all too excited, the collection is only set to release this coming Fall, so take a chill pill and read on to see what the collection has to offer.
The collection comes as part of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ 80th anniversary, and to celebrate, Bésame Cosmetics is partnering with Disney to create an exclusive collection that is inspired by the original artwork and colour palette of the iconic 1937 film.
Announcing the collaboration over at their Instagram page and unveiling the collection at the recent D23 Expo, you can expect the collection to be the result of very thorough and extensive research. The team even went as far as carefully selecting the colours to match the original colour palette provided by Disney’s Ink and Paint Department, just so they could provide fans the most authentic recreation of the colours used in the classic animated film.
The highlight of the collection has to be the vintage Vanity Mirror and the Storybook Palette, which features 20 matte eyeshadow shades that are inspired by the ’30s, so don’t be expecting all that holographic shimmery stuff because we’re going back to the classics. According to hellogiggles, the collection will also include two more eyeshadow palettes,a face powder, a cream rouge, lip balms, cosmetic bags, and mini lipsticks that will help you achieve Snow White’s signature red lip.
Information regarding the collection is still very sparse, but we do know it is pretty affordable with prices ranging from US$15 to US$68, so do watch this space for further updates. After all, you don’t just become the fairest of them all overnight.
