:CHOCOOLATE Brings Old School Manga Cool Back with its Saint Seiya Collection

Before popular manga series like Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, and One Piece came about, there was Saint Seiya – a story about five mystical warriors called the “Saints”. It was a true classic of the 80’s, and now, this OG of Japanese lore has gotten a modern, apparel revamp thanks to cult clothing brand :CHOCOOLATE.
The Hong Kong-based label, which is known for dishing out wacky reinterpretations of pop culture classics like Gudetama, Looney Tunes, Pompompurin, and Star Wars, will launch its new range of Saint Seiya pieces from August 8 onwards.

The new collection will mostly comprise of images of characters from the old school manga series, and it goes without saying that fan favourite characters like Seiya, Shiryū, Hyōga, Shun, Ikki and Gemin will be featured on a variety of men’s tees. Each tee comes in a monochrome palette, with the shirt’s base colourway as black or white.
That’s not all though. This retro collection will also include special edition Saint Seiya Playing Cards and a Tee Bundle set; which is basically a deck of Saint Seiya playing cards in a box that can be paired with any :CHOCOOLATE x Saint Seiya tee.

If you’d like to score these shirts, they’re retailing at $59.90 each and are available from August 8 onwards at i.t’s Bugis Junction and Orchardgateway stores. The Deluxe Playing Cards and Tee Bundle Set is retailing for $23.90.
