There’s everything to love about this three-piece capsule collection: the quirky yet rebellious DNA of Lazy Oaf, and the classic aesthetics of Dr. Martens.
Capturing the essence of a gothic princess, everything in this collaboration has got our hearts, with our favourite being the Jungle Boots. Going laceless right from the get-go and pumped with a double platform sole, these bad boys are full of attitude and spunk. From the metallic heart-shaped zipper pull, to the ribbon laces running down vertically, and down to the ruffled, frilly perimeters, these charcoal-black booties just made life so much better even as the slogan “My Life Is Boring” lines the heels at the back.
There’s also no better way for us to express our love for the classic 1461 silhouette than to have adorably-sized red hearts generously scattered all over it. The ever-popular brogues are marked with the tag line, “Don’t Care”, at the heels, and come with smooth velvety laces to seal the deal. Do we also have a matching heart-shaped bag to go with? Uh, hell yeah? The satchel bag that’s made of Kiev leather, gets the dotted hearts treatment as well, and comes complete with a front buckle and removable crossbody strap.
No official word on when this collection will drop, but our hearts are already stolen just by looking at the pictures. But according to HYPEBAE, they will come very soon, so do stay tuned for future updates.
