Nokia 3310 to Officially Launch in Singapore this October

And the world’s most indestructible phone is coming back to Singapore. Well, the reincarnated version of it at least. Everyone, re-introducing the 3310, launched earlier this February as part of the nostalgia wave that was running through the tech world.
Coming in four sprightly colours – yellow, warm red, azure blue, and charcoal, this revamped gadget will be made available at all major retail outlets from October 2017 onwards, making Singapore one of the first countries in the world to sell this 3G-compatible phone (the earlier version was only 2G-compatible).

And guess what: it’s going to come under $100, making it an ideal phone to buy for elderly folks who don’t really want to use that much technology, or for kids who aren’t responsible enough to use a smartphone by themselves just yet.
“Our reimagining of the Nokia 3310 has been a global and cultural phenomenon. In a world dominated by smartphones, the mix of nostalgia and a beautiful phone that just keeps going has captured people’s imagination,” said Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global.
