Spongebob Squarepants Just Made His Runway Debut In Asia

This isn’t the first time that Spongebob Squarepants has been spotted strutting down the runway. In 2014, Jeremy Scott sent Spongebob Squarepants down the runway at Moschino’s Show at Milan Fashion Week.
Spongebob Gold, an international campaign by Nickelodeon, has made fashion collaborations as part of this year’s tour, with showcases in London, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia. The appearance of Spongebob Squarepants at the recent Plaza Indonesia Men’s Fashion Week 2017 is the first time that the Spongebob Gold collection has surfaced in Asia. The lovable sponge has never failed to surprise and delight audiences of all ages, which is why we are just as excited for this collection.

Don’t worry, the collection won’t be as weird as what you just saw.
Designer Tities Sapoetra unveiled an entire line inspired by Bikini Bottom and all its inhabitants, featuring 32 pieces for both males and females. From pineapples to the trademark font and even Spongebob Squarepants himself, the collection is full of delightful prints and whimsical designs that we can actually see ourselves wearing on the streets (we can’t really say the same for a lot of what appears on fashion runways).
