Not too long ago when glitter was taking over all our Instagram feeds in a spate of seemingly misguided beauty trends, Too Faced’s co-founder Jerrod Blandino dropped a sneaky teaser of what we assumed to be a glitter beauty mask on his Instagram. Pretty much every single fan of Too Faced went crazy, like with every #tfsneakypeek that Blandino drops.
Over the weekend we FINALLY received confirmation that we were right – Too Faced will be launching a glitter face mask in December! And it even sparkles with real gold as well, because you either go big or go home.
The iridescent mask, cheekily named Glow Job, is a radiance-boosting peel-off mask full of brightening ingredients which will leave your face squeaky bright once you’ve removed the glittery, glossy mess after its hardened. Oh, all the selfies that you can take with this mask!
The shimmery mask will first be available in limited quantities in December online. If you miss that drop, you’ll have to wait at least another 4 to 5 months for Glow Job to be launched in stores in Spring 2018 . Too Faced limited edition drops always sell out in a couple of hours (like the whimsical Unicorn Survival Kit with that long awaited Unicorn Tears lipstick!), and we are sure that this one will be no different.
Okay, Too Faced, just take our money already! We need to slather our faces in all that glittery goodness to feel fancy enough for all those Christmas and New Year parties. If a face mask full of gold isn’t enough to make you feel like a million bucks, you can also finish off your makeup with the Too Faced Melted Gold Lipstick that comes infused with actual karat gold. This winter, it seems like whatever glitters is gold.
We are actually quite excited to see if Too Faced will be able to do a glowing job on its first ever skincare product because they have never let us down with their makeup so far. Until then, we’ll just keep wondering if the mask will be as difficult to remove as glitter nail polish. Oh and if you will find glitter in your snot, because that stuff gets everywhere.
Glow Job will be available on toofaced.com for a limited time in December, and will be launched in stores in Spring 2018.
