To all Fenty Beauty fans out there, stop what you’re doing because Rihanna’s just announced that she’ll be releasing a brand-new product! Even better, it’s the first-ever Fenty liquid lipstick and it comes in a vibrant super-saturated red. The Fenty Beauty Lip Paint in Stunna will be released 23 November, just in time for the holidays. We’re trying to keep our excitement levels low to keep up with Rihanna’s releases, since we barely had time to get over Fenty Beauty Version 1.0 and the Fenty Beauty Holiday Collection.
Like every product in the Fenty Beauty Range, the Lip Paint promises to look good on every skin tone with its tagline: “One Red For All”. We believe Rihanna when she says this – the range had 40 shades of matte foundations that catered to women of all skin tones. Also, interesting fact: the darker shades sold out almost immediately.
Fenty Beauty only had one lip product, and while the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb was perfect with a sheer balm formula and pigmented shimmer, we wanted something more exciting than a demure nude. Stunna Lip Paint sounds like a matte liquid lipstick, but when Riri showed us what it looks like on lip, it looks more like a semi-glossy shade that’s pretty similar to M.A.C’s RiRi Woo shade.
Will there be an entire collection of Lip Paint, and will it just be this super-saturated crimson red? We’ll be happy either way.
