Singaporean sneakerheads have few opportunities to really celebrate their love for sneakers, but Sole Superior is the ultimate local sneakerfest. Sure, it’s not exactly Sneaker Con, but it’s a close second. The annual sneaker convention that was started by two local sneakerheads gives all you a chance to mingle with the sneaker lovers community and a rare opportunity to score exclusive shoes and apparel.
From your left sneaker to your right sneaker and everything else in between, you’ll be able to fulfil your inner hypebeast when Sole Superior takes over Zouk this Saturday, 25 November. From global brands to local retailers and independent labels and even individual collectors, everyone will be bringing their freshest, most hyped sneakers out. Chances are, highly coveted and absolute holy grails will surface to see the light. A few brands you should look out for include 65upreme, Holystic, A.R.R.C., No Agenda, Hypekillz, Second Native, Death Threads and more!
What went down in Sole Superior 2016
Sole Superior turns 5 this year, and to thank everyone for their support, they will be hosting a raffle with over $30,000 worth of products, including (of course) shoes, cleaning accessories and hoodies. Everyone who has a ticket automatically gets one raffle entry. When you enter, remember to write your name on the raffle stub and drop it into the raffle box. There will be a raffle draw every hour, with the top 15 prizes being drawn at 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm. Scroll down for a couple of excuses to take your time and browse the cool kicks.
While we don’t exactly know what exclusive drops will be released on Saturday, we can tell you that Sole Superior has partnered up with various labels like New Era and Freshly Pressed Socks for a capsule collection. Deck yourself from head to toe with these exclusive drops only be available this Saturday – if you snooze, you lose. With limited quantities available, we aren’t even sure if they will even make it to Carousell, so your best bet is to stop by Zouk as early as possible if you have your eye on anything.

Now that you’ve made up your mind to drop by the sneaker convention, make sure to come with loads of cash. Some brands do take credit cards and even PayNow, but you don’t want to leave disappointed. You can also bring your own shoes in to sell and trade with collectors – every entry ticket allows you to bring two pairs of shoes into the convention. Keep your shoe collection sleek with only the best of the best.
The party doesn’t end once you’re done shopping. As if it could get more exclusive, the first ever official Sole Superior After Party will be taking place in a secret warehouse location somewhere in Tai Seng – even we don’t know where it will be. With Moonbeats Asia working behind the scenes to bring you good entertainment, you can be sure that the beats will be lit all night long. Falcons from Fool’s Gold Records will be making their Singapore debut, with The Whooligan and Yeti Out set to open the night. Get ready for loads of banging dancehall! Do note that while Sole Superior is a family friendly event, only those 18 and above will be allowed entry into the After Party because booze is served.
Sole Superior 2017 is happening on 25 Nov at Zouk, from 1 – 7pm.
The official Sole Superior After Party will be hosted together with Moonbeams Asia in a secret warehouse location in Tai Seng from 9pm till late.
