Drop. Everything. Christian Louboutin is painting our little town red this July and we’ve got the full scoop! At first mention, the image of a pair of the brand’s iconic Pensées, decked with red-lacquered soles, would have come to mind — agree?
For those who aren’t in the know, the archetypal design first came about in 1992, when Christian Louboutin picked up some red nail polish and started applying coats of it to the soles of his prototype — which then came about the birth of his brand that many went head over heels for.
The success of his luxury shoe brand then brought about the launch of Christian Louboutin Beauty, which launched in 2012 and has garnered the likes of many with its stellar collection of makeup for lips, eyes and nails for the modern day woman.
So where can you get them, you might ask? Previously, you could only get your hands on the collection on Christian Louboutin’s international site or online on sites like Net-A-Porter. But after much anticipation, the luxury Parisian house designer is proud to present its first launch here, in Singapore, this July.
You’ve probably seen a thing or two from the collection (or maybe not), but for the uninitiated, here’s a closer look at what you can expect at Christian Louboutin Beauty’s upcoming launch.
CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN LIP COLLECTION
Inspired by the Middle Eastern antiquities and the Art Deco movement, Christian Louboutin’s range of lipsticks were made for the confident, strong and sophisticated.
These luxurious and sensuous collection of lipsticks are the epitome of class. Enclosed in a beautiful black case, embossed with Christian Louboutin’s signature detailing, these lipsticks come in three different textures — Silky Satin Lip Colour, Velvet Matte Lip Colour and Sheer Voile Lip Colour.
By now you would’ve already figured that the perennial red hue plays a relatively huge part in most of the collection — because let’s face it, nothing says Christian Louboutin more than Red.
Arguably one of the most iconic shades from the lot is none other than Christian Louboutin’s signature, Rouge Louboutin — an ode to the eponymous brand’s timeless Louboutin red sole.
As part of the launch, Christian Louboutin Beauty will also debut five new red shades to its bold collection for a look that’s ultra-matte, intensely pigmented and stays on your lips for hours on end. Sure, their lipsticks may come with a heftier price tag than the usual, (and it’ll probably burn a hole or two in your wallet) but truth be told, it’s definitely an investment to add these lippies into your beauty arsenal.

CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN EYE COLLECTION
A look can never be complete without adding some drama to your eyes. Instead of your usual eyeshadow palettes, the Parisian brand gravitates towards liquid eye shadows that are made with a unique multi-use oil-based formula, giving off a multi-dimensional look that’s unmistakably hard to miss. The Tape à l’Oeil Eye Color, otherwise appropriately known as eye-catching, comes encased in bottles decked in gold and is available in 6 mattes and 6 metallic shades.

CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN NAIL COLLECTION
Ever heard of the 8-inch tall Ballerina Ultima, aka, the tallest heel Christian Louboutin has ever created? If you haven’t, well, now you have.
Inspired by the latter, the Christian Louboutin Beauty’s collection of nail colours take inspiration from these iconic silhouettes with a faceted glass bottle with a distinctive ombré effect to its design. Tone up (or tone down) your look with a stroke of these nail colours that are available in 29 bold, metallic and nude shades for you to choose from.

The Christian Louboutin collection will be available in Singapore at TANGS.com on 20 June 2019, and officially open at TANGS at Tang Plaza Level 1 from 1 July 2019.
