Hotpot restaurant, Beauty In The Pot, has opened its first outlet in the West at The Star Vista and has introduced a brand new seasonal broth that you need to try!
The Hearty Shrimp Broth is a signature offering of Le Shrimp Ramen, Beauty In The Pot’s sister company. The broth has incredible umami notes from fresh prawns that are baked at 180°C for 45 minutes! They are then ground into a fine paste and shimmered with premium conpoy for more than eight hours. Moreover, a blend of spices and fresh clams are added to give brightness and a refreshing tang to the rich and flavourful broth. The limited edition Hearty Shrimp Broth is available at Beauty In The Pot Star Vista outlet until 31 July 2019.
Even if you miss the limited edition shrimp broth, you still should check out the outlet because it’s pretty impressive. Not only can it seat 212 people, but it also has a children’s playground! That got all the parents’ attention, didn’t it? But seriously, the new outlet is designed for any family-friendly affair. It has private rooms that can seat 12 and can even be combined for larger groups. The vibe of the outlet itself is more of an ‘East Meets West’ with its glamorous red and pastel blue decor and is meant to represent an old quartier in Singapore during Western Colonisation.
Beauty In The Pot is known for its collagen steamboat and late closing hours that makes it a go-to for any late-night dining or supper sessions. Embracing the concept of ‘Good Food, Good Living’, the restaurant also has 5 other signature broths with high-quality, nourishing ingredients for the body. There are also a variety of premium hotpot ingredients including handmade dumplings and meatballs. Must-tries are the Signature Homemade Fish Tofu and the Fried Beancurd Skin.
The Signature Beauty Collagen Broth is made with a medley of conpoy, chicken, chicken feet, pork bone and pig’s trotters (no sharks here) and the Signature Spicy Nourishing Soup (Pork Bone Soup) has luxurious Chinese herbs for a boost in energy. There is also the Herbal Drunken Chicken Broth made with fresh kampong chicken, Longevity Wild Pine Mushroom Broth which is vegetarian and Vitamin C Tomato Sweet Corn Broth, which is great for, you guessed it – vitamin C. Lastly, there is the Cooling Coconut Broth where the chefs slice open fresh young coconuts and pour the coconut water into the soup base. It’s said to nourish the lungs, improve the body’s immune system and soothe the throat. Definitely intriguing, to say the least!
The Limited Edition Hearty Shrimp Broth is $28 for a single pot, $15 for a twin pot and $9 for a quart pot. Opening hours are from 11.30am to 3.00pm (last order at 2.15pm) and 6.00pm to 3.00am (last order at 2.15am) on weekdays, and from 11.30am to 3.00am (last order at 2.15am) on weekends.
