The start of the year always has exciting new makeup launches, and one of the most anticipated for January 2020 is Dior’s Forever Couture Perfect Cushion in the exclusive Diormania edition. From what I’ve heard, the pre-order list is full, and there’s now a “waiting list” — and no surprises there, because the hype is real; both personal and industry friends were messaging me the minute we shared pictures on our Instagram. A reader even commented that she’s going to “every day stalk Dior in January”. Nice. Here’s what it looks like:

Apart from the collectible case, it’s really the foundation formula that is exceptional and why you should invest in this makeup product. I reviewed the Forever Perfect Cushion when it was launched in August 2019 and you can read the full writeup here. It’s still very-much my go-to cushion foundation, and has excellent lasting powers and skincare benefits. And I’ll say this again — the finish is beautiful. It looks natural, healthy and fresh. Now that it comes in a special edition “monogram” case, everyone (at least everyone I know) wants one.
Dior Lip Glow — The Pink Diormania Limited Edition, available in 001 Pink, $50.
Launching in January alongside the new cushion compact, are three lip products as well. This includes the brand’s iconic and best-selling Lip Glow, and in a limited edition packaging featuring Dior logomania. The Lip Glow formula includes Mango Butter and a Color Reviver Technology, which does exactly what its name implies. Lips are hydrated, smoother and appear enhanced in both shape and colour.

The Dior Lip Maximizer also gets the limited edition Dior logomania treatment on its exterior. This formula adds shine and makes lips appear instantly plumper and shapelier.

The Dior Lip Glow Oil is a new addition to the range, and is as much a skincare product as it is makeup. It is infused with Cherry Oil that nourishes and softens lips, and claims to improve the appearance of bare lips after just five days of application. There are six flattering shades, all with a texture that is light and non-sticky, giving off a mirror-shine finish that even enhances the shape of lips.
