The pajama trend isn’t about to die any time soon, not with more of us working from home in a bid to fight the spread of the coronavirus via social isolation. Sometimes, it even feels like we’re going into battle with PJs and passiveness in tow. Uh, I guess you can count us in, sure we’ll help. And while making loungewear work for the outside world involves smart styling, what if you’re just really lazy? You want to wake up like this, and look good as hell. Well, let these luxurious pajama brands do all the work for you.
SLEEPER
Sleeper‘s PJ sets are so luxe we wouldn’t mind getting caught sleepwalking — and hey, even meeting our ex along the way. Now, that’s high praise indeed! One of their most popular series has to be these Party Pajamas with Feathers, obviously just the right pomp and sass that you’ll be the envy of any sleepover or #OOTD-worthy shot too. Little known fact: the label was literally a dream for founders and former editors Kate Zubarieva and Asya Varetsa, one of whom had dreamt herself standing in the middle of a pajamas factory. Apart from the classic jammies combo, there are also luxurious silk slips and robes so you can go ahead to live in style — and name-drop fans such as Mira Duma, Veronika Heilbrunner, and Emily Ratajkowski too.

OLIVIA VON HALLE
Oh, the feeling when you ditch your heels, take off your bra (no shame here!) and slip into something way more comfortable. Your old college t-shirt is honestly fine, but if you require your loungewear to be ultra-glamorous in the name of self-care, look to Olivia von Halle. Halle herself was inspired by the pyjamas worn by Coco Chanel and her peers in the 1920s, and managed to perfect the look with impeccable tailoring, quality silk, or details such as mother-of-pearl buttons and silk trims. We’re definitely enjoying her unique prints; the recent Psychedelic Picnic Collection is filled with imagery from the enchanting woodlands, for instance, while you can get an eye mask to match.

EBERJEY
If silk feels a little too luxe for your taste — if there’s such a thing anyway — you might want to invest in Eberjey. The aim here is for lingerie and loungewear that feels good and flatters real bodies, comfy without being too overly sexy, but still very much so in the way a confident person takes your breath away. All their classic must-have pieces boast a blend of super-soft modal jersey, a cooling material that hugs your body and falls in all the right places, while also lasting hundreds of washes and wears. Low-key, low-maintenance styles to ace your stay home look, we say!

ASCENO
Easy as ABC? Easy as Asceno, we think. The London label, founded in 2014, believes in a relaxed and effortless vibe, and we can tell straightaway — all their silk and linen wear feature elegant and clean silhouettes that speak of unfussy luxury. Natural fabrics are important too. Founders Lauren Leask and Poppy Sexton-Wainwright believe in a sustainable approach — only 100% natural fibres are used, so organic linens, cottons and responsibly-sourced organic silk, that are then tested for durability and hand-feel. You could be zipping about the city, being the ultimate hostess at a house party, or just enjoying your solo weekends sipping camomile tea, these pieces are that versatile so we can stay committed to buying less and appreciating more.
