It’s already May, and we’re almost halfway through the year! A lot has happened within the last few months, and it’s about time for a bit of good news. We’re in the middle of spring and getting closer to summer, and that means a whole bunch of new beauty launches to prepare for the new season! Whether you’ve been attempting to curb your online shopping habits the past couple months or you’re slowly building a stockpile of products to try, you definitely don’t want to miss out on some of these new launches.
Fenty Beauty
With summer comes the need for cream products — they sink into your skin and last way longer. Rihanna has officially introduced two of the ultimate accessories to keep your #FentyFaceFresh: the Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush and Bronzer.
Available in 10 shades, the vibrant Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush may seem a tad intimidating — but don’t fret! Unlike what you see in the pan, these blushes are sheer and buildable, perfect to give your cheeks a natural, melt-in-your-skin tint that anyone can pull off.
On the other hand, the Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer will add just enough colour to your skin to emphasise your summer tan. These blendable bronzers can warm up your face with soft definition, providing a natural, fresh-faced bronze glow.
The Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush ($33) and Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer ($50) are available now at Sephora.
Jo Malone London
The British label has introduced a limited edition cologne collection that brings to life a secret garden in springtime. Exploring a contrast between two beloved Asian flora — the fragrant, citrusy Yuja and the pristine, floating Waterlily. The two scents bring about the ideas of adventures that can only be found in springtime.
Yuja and Waterlily are also joined by a line-up of the brand’s Blossom Colognes — Osmanthus Blossom, Silk Blossom and a special edition Orange Blossom Home Candle and Diffuser. Presented in frosted glass bottles in soft, muted hues, this collection is certainly one worthy of a place on your vanity.
The Jo Malone London Blossoms Cologne series includes Yuja Cologne, Waterlily Cologne, Osmanthus Blossom Cologne, Silk Blossom Cologne and Orange Blossom Home Candle ($115) and Diffuser ($160). Each cologne is priced at $115 (30ml) and $225 (100ml). Available exclusively at Sephora. Orange Blossom range not available online.
M.A.C Cosmetics
Created with Ramadan in mind, M.A.C introduces Mosaic Masterpiece, an intricately designed collection that pays tribute to Middle Eastern architecture and the symbols of Ramadan. Each piece is enveloped in rich navy packaging, embellished with luxurious gold accents. Similar to their Lunar New Year collection, the 9-piece set includes 3 lipsticks and an eyeshadow palette that are collection-exclusive, along with a beautifully embossed Extra-Dimension Skinfinish.
Also included in the collection are a Kajal Crayon, In Extreme Dimension Mascara, LiquidLast 24-Hour Waterproof Liner and a 494S Precision Blush Brush. This is a limited edition collection, so be sure to act fast!
The M.A.C Cosmetics Limited Edition Mosaic Masterpiece Collection ranges from $36 to $79 and is now available at Sephora and Lazada.
Armani Beauty
With 4 complementary earthy shades, the Italian label presents its Terra Nature Lip Maestro collection. Inspired by warm neutral tones, reminiscent of the colours of autumn.
The collection celebrates the award-winning Lip Maestro matte lacquer, featuring one of Armani Beauty’s iconic shades, shade #405, and introduces shade #205, an earthy, brick red that has been designed to flatter all skin tones. The collection displays the brand’s take on an earthy palette that highlights the elegance of natural beauty.
Armani Beauty is also introducing the Designer Essence-In-Balm Mesh Cushion, a cushion foundation designed to deliver instant perfection and maximum radiance. Available in 4 shades, the creamy formula provides SPF50/PA +++ protection, all while electric blue pigments, pearls and hollow powders are combined to provide instant radiance to the skin upon application. The buildable formula allows for even application that can be retouched throughout the day — perfect for those who are always on-the-go.
The Armani Beauty Terra Nature Lip Maestro collection ($55 per Lip Maestro) and Designer Essence-In-Balm Mesh Cushion ($120) are available online at the Armani Beauty store at TANGS.
Sephora x Stabilo
Growing up, we’ve all tried to use our stationery as makeup at least once, and anyone who you claims they’ve never done it is probably lying. Well, gone are the days where we’d hurriedly attempt to scrub magic marker off our face — the Sephora x Stabilo collaboration has launched and we are living for it.
The collection is exactly what you’d expect — four felt liners in very wearable black, grey and brown shades, plus an electric highlighter-blue that’s perfect to make a statement with. These liners look exactly like the Stabilo highlighters we all know and love. Be wary of putting these in your pencil case — you may end up ruining your notes!
The Sephora x Stabilo Felt Eyeliners ($15) are available at Sephora.
