It’s been a hot minute since we’ve last heard of Givenchy Beauty’s luxurious range of beauty essentials but rest assured that this luxury house is back this July with something that we can all look forward to. You’re not looking at just one or two new launches from the brand, in fact, it’s coming back in full force with three major launches.
From their Prisme Libre Loose Powder to their new men’s fragrance, here’s a first look at Givenchy Beauty’s exciting upcoming launches.
1. PRISME LIBRE LOOSE POWDER
You may be well acquainted with this hot number in their signature bestselling shade 01 Mousseline Pastel, but this time ’round Givenchy Beauty is ramping things up and introducing 3 additional new shades alongside the original cult classic.
Here’s a summary of the quartet of powders in the Prisme Libre Loose Powder:
-
SHADE 01 MOUSSELINE PASTEL — SOFT SHADES; CORRECTS REDNESS AND YELLOWY TONES; FOR AN OPALESCENT COMPLEXION
-
SHADE 02 SATIN BLANC — NUDE SHADES; NEUTRALISES SKIN TONE; FOR RADIANT SKIN
-
SHADE 03 VOILE ROSÉ — RAINBOW SHADES; CORRECTS GREY, BLUISH AND YELLOW TONES; FOR A ROSY GLOW
-
SHADE 04 MOUSSELINE ACIDULÉE — COOL COLOURS REDUCE REDNESS AND BROWN SPOTS; WARM SHADES FOR A RADIANT, APRICOT COMPLEXION
As part of the original Prisme Libre Loose Powder, two of the shades — 02 Satin Blanc and 03 Voile Rosé — come with a new and improved formula, while 04 Mousseline Acidulée is the latest shade in the quartet of ultra-fine loose powders. As for the original version, it features two corrective tones (Mouseeline pastel and Satin Blanc) that even out the complexion while the two luminous hues (Voile Rosé and Mousseline Acidulée) enhance the skin’s natural glow.
Dusting it onto your face with a light layer, all versions of the powder blurs imperfections, mattifies your skin, and boosts skin’s radiance with an invisible veil. It also promises up to 6 hours of radiance and has a texture that’s airy and lightweight — it doesn’t feel like you have anything on your face.
The Prisme Libre Loose Powder ($90) will be exclusively available online at Sephora from 16 June to 15 July, and will be available in stores from 16 July onwards.
2. LE ROSE PERFECTO LIQUIDE BALM
Cloaked in a luxurious pink leather case, the original Le Rose Perfecto Lip Balm has made a name for itself with its range of vibrant and luminous shades, on top of its unique hybrid formula that fuses both skincare and makeup into one single product.
But this year, Givenchy has decided to launch a liquid version of the lip balm, the Le Rose Perfecto Liquide Balm, which boasts nourishing and hydrating properties that protect your puckers while enhancing it with a natural finish in just a swipe.
Formulated with shea butter that nourishes the lips, as well as plumping cranberry oil and hydrating hyaluronic acid, the latest liquid lip balm sees other ingredients such as pink peppercorn oil for protection and menthol to promote micro-circulation for your lips. You can either wear it on its own or layer it over your lipstick for the ultimate finish.
Within this range, you can expect 9 neo shades to play with, from soft beige hues to garnet red shades to choose from — a lineup of subtle shades that suit even the lightest to darkest complexions. For instance, their Frosted Nude No. 10 shade is a universal lip shade that works for any complexion. Alternatively, they also have their iconic shade in Perfect Pink No. 001 that’s infused with eosin which gives off a subtle sheen of colour to your lips upon application.
Le Rose Perfecto Liquide Balm ($52) will be available online at Sephora and in stores from 16 July.
3. GENTLEMAN EAU DE PARFUM BOISÉE
An olfactory for men that demands attention? Peep Givenchy’s Gentleman Eau de Parfum Boisée. A fragrance that boasts the power of attraction, this intensifying newcomer opens with a spicy burst of fresh coriander seed fused with black pepper and green geranium notes; while the heart is composed of iris structured around cedar and cocoa, with hints of patchouli enveloped with snadalwood at the end. A scent befitting of a gentleman that appreciates the eternal elegance of simplicity.
Gentleman Eau de Parfum Boisée ($109, 50ml and $151, 100ml) is now available online at Sephora and will be made available in-stores from 16 July.
