The result of Nike’s continual experimentation on its own creations results in this new sneaker, that offers surreal comfort with the aforementioned abundant use of the React foam and an ultra-plush tongue cradling every facet of the foot. The addition of Nike’s own revolutionary seamless mesh on its upper also adds to its unparalleled ease in use even when worn all day.

The colourways, on the other hand, are said to be inspired by Mexico City’s famed Casa Gilardi, with richly textured fabrics, a transparent heel clip, and distorted sides, contributing to its overall gorgeously exaggerated look. The barely discernible subtle pattern on its classic running silhouette, however, is said to be a homage to poison dart frogs, which makes for a mind-boggling amalgamation of inspirations that somehow works.
