There are two parts to this recipe and each of them requires different ingredients.
INGREDIENTS:
Pearl Milk Tea:
— Boiling Water
— 1 Cup Of Tea
— ⅓ Cup Of Brown Sugar
— ⅓ Cup Tapioca Starch
— Evaporated Milk
— Ice
Cheese Foam Topping:
— 50ml Whipping Cream
— 50g Cream Cheese
— 25ml Fresh Milk
— 25g Sugar
Pearl Milk Tea — Preparation:
1. Mix 1 tablespoon of brown sugar with tapioca starch. Then, pour in boiling water while mixing it to form a dough-like consistency.
2. Knead and shape the dough to form a thin roll before cutting them into smaller pieces and rolling them into small round balls.
3. Taking a pot, boil twice as much water as the amount of pearls before dissolving the remaining brown sugar.
4. Then, pour in the pearls and wait for it to cook and float to the top. When the pearls have floated to the top, lower the heat down to medium.
5. After 15 minutes, remove the pearls from the pot and let it cool for 20 minutes.
6. While waiting for the pearls to cool, brew a cup of black tea.
7. Lastly, add some evaporated milk (as much you like) and ice to the cup and pour in the pearls.
Cheese Foam Topping — Preparation:
1. Add your cream cheese and sugar into a bowl. Then, using Bosch’s Maxomixx Hand Blender or any hand blender that you have, mix them together with the whisk attachment to achieve a smooth mixture.
2. While whisking, pour in the milk until you achieve a smooth foamy consistency.
3. In another bowl, whisk together the whipping cream on high speed with the Bosch Hand Blender until it reaches medium peak consistency.
4. Follow through by pouring the cream cheese mixture together and adding a pinch of salt.
5. Whisk the mixture together until you’ve achieved a foamy texture before wrapping the bowl with cling film and leaving it to cool in the fridge.
6. Once you’ve made your Pearl Milk Tea, add a large scoop of the Foam Topping on top of your milk tea and it’s ready to be served.
