In a campaign shot by Paul Zeper, Vans has released a pastry-inspired pair of shoes, in collaboration with Dutch streetwear boutique Maha Amsterdam. Channeling Orange Tompouce, a sweet, creamy dessert, the sneaker features Vans’ signature checkerboard pattern in a yellow, orange and white colourway.
In typical Old Skool fashion, the sneaker shows off the iconic Sidestripe in two shades, a pastel yellow and muted orange, the former against a darker orange checkerboard pattern on the outer area and the latter against a contrasting yellow on the inner.
The rubber outsoles also have the same yellow checkers emblazoned around the edges, along with Maha branding on the tips of the laces and embroidered on the tongue.
Dessert and Vans fans alike are sure to appreciate this delectable pair, and its orange and yellow colourway is just right for the summer season.
