Even though most of us prefer our regular playlist with no interruptions, there are times when we wish that there was a dedicated radio program that would play the hits we like.
Since the launch of Apple Music in 2015, the tech giant’s flagship global radio station Beats 1 has grown into one of the most listened-to radio stations in the world, consistently delivering the best music experience to listeners worldwide.
.
Now, Beats 1 has been rebranded and turned into Apple Music 1, continuing to provide the best in-depth artist interviews, global exclusives and premieres, and unique programming that produces culture-moving, news-making moments. Alongside the rebrand is the addition of two new radio stations under Apple Music Radio — Apple Music Hits and Apple Music Country.
Here’s a closer look at what you can expect from each radio station.
APPLE MUSIC 1
Led by a team of key presenters which includes Zane Lowe and Ebro Darden across state-of-the-art studios in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, and London, Apple Music 1 is the centre for pop culture conversation and artist-led programming where global artists can utilise the platform to release new music, break news and speak directly to the fans.
.
The line-up of shows does not just include regular programming from the key presenters but also specially curated music programs hosted by some of the biggest names in music such as Billie Eilish, Elton John, Lil’ Wayne, The Weeknd, HAIM, Lady Gaga and Nile Rodgers.
