Since their colourful Sailor Moon collection earlier this year, Skechers is back with a new collaboration with beloved Japanese icon Hello Kitty. Featuring a super kawaii series of sneakers, slides and clothing, this is a collection all fans of the iconic feline is sure to appreciate.
Kicking off the collaboration is a selection of white lace-up V’lites, featuring colourful rubber soles in red, green, black, blue and yellow, with a matching Hello Kitty graphic on the side, as well as a complimentary heel patch displaying an outline of her iconic bow. Also on each pair is an assortment of coloured grommets that provide a subtle contrast against the white laces.
The second sneaker option is the chunky Energy silhouette, with subtle baby pink, white, red or black detailing on each shoe, printed with collaborative branding. Tying each shoe together is a sewn-on Skechers logo topped with a simple red Hello Kitty bow, while the children’s option has an additional velcro strap, featuring a helmet-wearing Hello Kitty graphic.
The women’s footwear collection is rounded off with monochromatic slides available in 3 monochromatic colourways of black, white and hot pink. Each pair bears a distinct Hello Kitty graphic on the upper, as well as collaborative branding on the band.
Adding on to the children’s footwear collection are 2 pairs of chunky Sweet Heart sneakers in a pink, white and red colourway, as well as a punk-esque black, red and white option. Each pair features adorable heart details on the heel, as well as a velcro strap laced with Hello Kitty motifs for easy wear.
The women’s clothing selection features an assortment of t-shirts and pullovers, each displaying bright Hello Kitty graphics. Available in a multitude of base colours, including baby pink, navy and red, the apparel features various futuristic Baby Laughing Animals on the back, with each colour corresponding to different renditions of Hello Kitty’s robot friends, such as a monkey, tiger and even a green dragon.
While mums can mix and match t-shirts and pullovers to twin with their little ones, the children’s apparel collection also features additional dresses, sweatpants, hoodies and sweaters that all young ones will love.
With a minimum Skechers x Hello Kitty purchase of $100, shoppers will also receive a free Hello Kitty eco shopping bag in-store, so you can take her with you on weekly grocery runs while doing your part in supporting sustainability!
The Skechers x Hello Kitty collection is now available exclusively on Lazada, and will be launched on Shopee from 5 October.
The collection will also be available at selected Skechers stores from 1 October, including Jurong Point, Jewel Changi Airport, Bugis Junction, Great World City and Suntec City.
