As makeup collaborations go — this is the way. Of course, we’re talking about Baby Yoda, or The Child, the undeniable breakout star of The Mandalorian, a Lucasfilm series that explores a more gritty side of the Star Wars expanded universe. This time though, beauty brand ColourPop is hopping onto the bandwagon floating crib with a limited-edition eyeshadow palette, inspired by the popular character. Is it any wonder that they’re dubbing this the cutest in the galaxy?
With official teasers out just yesterday evening, they’ve certainly got Baby Yoda fans talking. And it seems like this will be a one-item launch. You’re looking at a The Child pressed powder palette (USD16), of nine eyeshadow shades, centred around olive green — or, as we like to say, Dagobah-green.
Yet, there’s still a mix of mattes and metallic shades to look forward to, as well as golds and complementary earth tones, which all feature fun names such as “Sipping Soup”, “Precious Cargo”, and “Little Frog” that will no doubt excite avid followers of the series. Hopefully, this won’t be sold out before you get to add to cart, but you know, just in case, may the Force be with you then.
