To make it even easier for us to touch up on the go, Gucci Beauty has launched a new cushion foundation, one that’s infused with SPF, anti-blue light and hydrating properties while offering a luminous finish. A key part of the new Cushion De Beauté’s appeal is, of course, that vintage-style blush pink case, this time in a regal design since it bears distinctive motifs of the house, designed by Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele.
Of the formula, this one packs quite a bit despite its diminutive size. The foundation includes a moisturising complex of Glycol and Glycerin that hydrates the skin for up to 24 hours, as well as Black Rose Oil, one of Gucci Beauty’s key ingredients, for antioxidant protection. There are also anti-pollution and anti-blue light ingredients in there, including Lipochroman, Butterfly Bush Extracts, and Titanium Dioxide, along with SPF 22 filters that further protect the skin against sun damage.
In order to achieve its luminous finish, the Cushion De Beauté contains high reflection index oils and mineral powders that “maximise the reflection of light on the skin”, all in a lightweight formula.
The Cushion De Beauté debuts in six shades with a pastel pink compact adorned with a lion motif surrounded by a wreath of flowers. Inside, you’ll find a mirror and soft cushion applicator. As with most cushion compacts, this one’s refillable as well — not that we can bear to throw the case away anyway.
The Gucci Beauty Cushion De Beauté is now available at Gucci Beauty counters at Takashimaya, Tangs, BHG and Metro, and from 16 September 2021 at Sephora stores and sephora.sg.
